Reviews of Fiction Books: Everything from Young Adult Romance to Crime Thrillers

Anna Dressed in Blood - Kendare Blake See, I don't scare easy. But I like scary things. So when I found this book, I immediately started to read it. It picked me up right from the start with Cass hunting a ghost. He's a great narrator.Anna had a terrible story before she died, and there was a reason why she was evil. It wasn't like she just woke up one day and decided to be bad. She was forced to and kept fighting it. Anna was like two sides of a coin: both a murderer and a victim, like so many real people. You didn't know the actual villain until the middle of the book. Sure, there was Anna, but she didn't really count since she turned good and all. He was a strange and interesting character. The plot was well developed. There were very little plot holes. It was fast paced and full of action. All the characters seemed three-dimensional. They seemed to shape the plot, instead of the plot shaping them. They weren't cliched at all. The ghosts were really interesting. The writing was great. I never knew it was possible to make something so terrible written well. Everything flowed easily. The word choices were really good.See this and more at http://www.thereadingobsession.blogspot.com
